Dr. Ravit Linn is a senior lecturer at the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Haifa. She received her BA in Archaeology from the Department of Archaeology at the Hebrew University, and then continued to study conservation at the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) in Rome, Italy, and later at the University of London, Courtauld Institute. In 2008, Dr. Linn received her Ph.D. from the Department of Archaeology at the University of Haifa.
Dr. Linn has been involved in numerous conservation projects in Israel and abroad, including the conservation of the stone façade in the Capitoline Museum of Rome, wall painting in the “Oratorio dei Quaranta Martiri”, in the Roman Forum, and the painted ceiling of the Jesuit theatre in Vienna. She has also consulted various organizations such as the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and the Eretz Israel Museum on fieldwork conservation.
