A carpenter’s chisel from the 5th–6th centuries CE was discovered inside a metal conglomerate found aboard the merchant ship “Tantura A”, which sank off the coast of Dor. The vessel was uncovered as part of an underwater excavation conducted by Prof. Debbie Zwickel, a marine archaeologist and vessel researcher from the School of Archaeology and Marine Cultures at the University of Haifa.
